There is some slightly distracting colour-noise on the left hill (and through some of the rest of the shot).
Having said that, what a vista.
The exposure is very well judged throughout. I like this - and that is why I'm commenting on it :0)

Beautiful tones. Very good.

I know the duck isn't obvious. I thought it would be an interesting name to get people looking around the shot.
I did like the composition and felt it was worth working on for that reason alone - It's just that the little duck is an added bonus. :0)
Thanks for your comment.
kind regards,
Paul

Just be keen to see what you think about this.

Have manipulated a little... Got rid of a warning sign, a house and
changed the sloping sides of the castle which were evident from having
used a 12mm lens.

It's almost as if a landscape photographer were asked "What would be your dream components in an image?"
- Sunflowers, please. Thousands of them.
- Oh and an interesting sky.
and then seeing it appear before your eyes.
This is a great shot.
Agree with other contributor, large please.
Also, As much as I prefer B&W, (see my own portfolio for you to realise that is true), the first thing I thought when seeing this was 'what would this look like in colour?' Orangey yellow and blue - It doesn't get any better than that.
Great shot though.

Thanks for playing with my other shots. I just spotted a high-key one which you (Jayme) had played with. I am very lucky that whatever we do with these, I am lucky to have the initial raw material to work with. My daughter Madison(who I must seem obsessed with) is just so expressive. It's almost difficult to believe that these are all of the same little girl (not yet 4 1/2 years old).
I was particularly pleased with this one as the original showed promise only interms of expression. Certainly not lighting.
It's always a pleasure to see other's efforts with my own photos and to see what they would do with the same raw material. This is one of the reasons I include the original.
Thanks for you time and effort.
kind regards,
Paul

Taken today, this was taken at Orford in Suffolk. It's odd, but
everytime I head towards the coast or a river, I have the intention of
tring to capture the beauty of the scenery. The problem is that water
looks fantastic when you are there, but rubbish through the lens and
back home on the computer; so I can't help but gravitate towards dead
boats for foreground fodder. Here is the result from today's outing.

The second in the Dressing Up series. Some of the tones are a little
burnt out but worth that for the expression alone.

Try stopping her from dressing up like Mummy/a Princess/a fairy and
you will see tears... Yours!
See the original and note the 'improvements'.

It's not obvious that Jessie is a she from any of my photos.
I look forward to seeing your photos in the forum.
Thanks again and no probs with my Gender-bending daughter :0)
