  1. Your soft roses are very nice. I also like "Calm" (boat edge on reflecting water). "Prints" from the Minimalism thread is also very nice. Here, the soft focus with close imagry and narrowed cropping is something I have not seen before, and like. Thank you for your work, the portfolio is very nice.
  2. Dimf: Thank you for the compliment. It is a tradition to paint on major holidays. This year, I painted digitally and left the brush and canvas in the hallway. This image is approx 9 hours of processing on three base images that were utilized to create the image's 12 elements. Airbrushing in MS Word Paint/Draw was used after basic cut'n'paste in Sony PictureGear Studio. Also used color negatives, reduction and enlargement. As this has been my first total digital reconstruction, I believe the next will not be as technically problematic regarding process. A partial digital reconstruction may be found in my photo.net folio in Fauvistic at 'Reflection.' Sincerely, V

Lovely comical piece! Also, I believe the dyads work well here (e.g., pair of boots, pair of paws, pair of ears, pair of door knobs). Thank you for a bright smile from this lovely little snap!

The haze and B&W handling works well for me in this image. So often such subjects are very polished and brilliant in coloration. This retro approach is refreshing; and, I do not recall viewing period pieces with such haze. Very, very nice. Thank you for a lovely image.
  3. The play of the clouds as a huge falcon above the ridgelines that point to the apex of the clouds is very good. I'm okay that I can't decide whether or not I like the dark foreground. Very nice photo.
