Love the hands, the pattern of the cloth and the B&W tones! If I were you (which I'm not obviously) I would have gone for a square crop losing the lower part of the photo, but would like to know why you choose differently.

Paul, how much time did you spend demirroring all texts!? It does improve the picture in making only the form mirrored, the 'intellectual' part of the brain would otherwise be constantly disturbed by the mirrored text.
