1. I bulk load alot. Not even using a loader, I just do it in a walking closet. It took me a few rolls to get used to it. So it's not a big deal. Try to get some exposed film to practice in the light. Or, give me that glass of wine and I will load them for you.
  2. Thanks for the answers. I will try a roll. I will try a few shots with direct light, indoor and outdoor (to the sun?). So I should just point the camera directly to the source of the light? (will this scratch affect the quality of bokeh?) Thanks again.
  3. Hi, I got a tiny scratch on my lense. Tiny one, like 2mm long. I can

see it only when I look it from the side, if I look diretly to the

lense , I cannot see it. Does it matter? How bad the image will be

impacted? Does that mean the lense is gone? Anyway to test it? Thanks.

  4. Hi,

I don't believe this is a processing issue, but I cannot find the

    answer.

I took a few rolls of film with a newly acquired 35mm camera. after

I scan the negative into the computer and try to the crop edges, I

notice the short edges of each frame are slight bent toward

outside. I don't know why it is like this. The thing I worry about

is the film back not making the film flat. Can it be the reason? Or

there can be other reasons. Or this is totally normal.

BTW,

    it is bessa R.

I scanned same kind of film took with different cameras and I didn't

    see the problem.

Thanks

  5. Ok, I did the following test.

Holding the camera, same focus, same spot....
film speed/f-stop/meter reads correct exposure "o"/speed where meter start to read under "-"
200 | f2.8 | 1/60 | 1
400 | f2.8 | 1/125 | 1/2
800 | f2.8 | 1/250 | 1/4
1600| f2.8 | 1/500 | 1/8
3200| f2.8 | 1/1000 | 1/15
So i think the whole meter is off the alignment. I noticed that on top the dial there are two holes I would imagine they should be used to adjust the shutter dail. Am I right? what is the start point then. I mean when you set the B which light the meter should give??
and this is a brand new camera. How can that happen??

  6. Hi, this is the follow up on the previous question. I did some test

on Bessa R. what I notices is when i put the shutter speed at 1

second, at anytime, with any aperture setting and iso setting, the

meter always gives me the "-". for example, with the same metter

reading on f8 and 1/125 for correct exposure, I turn the dial towards

slower shutter speed. As you can image, I got all "+" for

over-exposure until 1/2, and as soon as I got 1, the meter shows "-".

Why is that??? if you have the R can you try it the same to see if

you have the same problem? Or mine is a defect one. Thanks alot.

  7. Hi, I was doing this under the water.. I got this npc back, no

manual, and the film pack, no manual either. So I figured to put the

film pack inside and put it on the camera. Now, the shutter doesn't

fire. I pull the darkslide of the film pack out, and I pull the

insert out but the shutter still doesn't fire. Since its the first

time I use polaroid film in my life, I am not even sure how this thing

work. I thought I could find some help by googling. no luck. Any

anyone help me? I have wasted two sheets already. And with this back

how can you mount the camera on the tripod? many thanks.
