1. Hi, Thanks for the answer. I just tried now the center button can start and stop the video. However every time i stop a video by press the center button, the camera says "Movie recording starts with movie button. Still image shooting is invalid in this mode. it is only available in modes other than movie mode. " it is a big message and blocks the screen and wont go away until i shoot the video again by click the center button again. I think the stop click sends a command to the camera to take a still photo.

I am not able to see where i can set "allow video from exposure release button"

I tried it from the moza master app, it is the same with the start/video button. I dont know if this is normal.. Do you see the same with your set up?

    Thank you!!!

  2. Hi, Any one using this set up here? I just got the Moza Mini P but when it is wired up with the camera, it can only shoot the video from the gimbal record button once each boot, else it will just taking pictures (slow). I just connected those two, did I miss any thing.... Thanks!!!
  3.
I have the Canon 5DII. I have the dust problem.... I guess I should blame myself as I often change lenses in the field. But I have been very careful... such as blow off the lens clean before i put it on.
Still I got dust problem... Now, from time to time I have to turn the LCD preview on and point to the sky to see if there are dusts. I don't know where they are from, but from time to time they show up and the vibrating sensor doesn't do any good.
Any good ways to get rid of the dusts in the field? I carry the rocket air blow now.
At home, i tried blow the sensor and use a small vacuum machine to suck the air flow out the chamber. I am convinced even I blow the dusts off they might still be somewhere in side and will come back again.
So any good suggestions on that as well?
Thanks a million.

  4.
I downloaded somewhat 18 different picture styles from the web. among them, there are ones mimic film effects (such as RDP, RVP and so on)... what i am looking for is the kodachrome, but I have nto found any.
With my limited knowledge, I think picture style is more than just (X, X, X,X)... Canon has a picture style editor, and you can create your own picture styles.

  5.
Hi, I am playing with this nice machine and I have a few questions.
1) The filenames on the card. I thought I saw it some where online saying the file names can be saved with datetime as part of the name, or at least in different folder based on the date... I thought it was cool, but I cannot see it can be done... anyone has any ideas?
2) I guess my laptop is not fast enough so the HD movie cannot be played properly on my PC. any suggestion on how to tackle this?

Thanks.
Overall, this is a very impressive camera! too bad i didn't get the 24-105 lens.

  6. Just let u guys know someone stole the Elmarit -M 90mm lens from me last friday. I bought it from the ebay and

the UPS left it by the door without me signing the package. Someone took the package. the serial # is 3898731.

Hope it can be recovered. .. It took me a while to come up the money to get a new lens and I got it and I

didn't even see the lens before it was stolen.

  7. Hi, i am forced into the market again since my xt died. I would like to have a full frame camera to have the true feeling of DOF of each prime lens I have. I heard there was going to be lower-end "7D" coming out. True? If it is a little bit over $1000, I would go for it even I got only 7-point AF and no spot meter and only 3fps speed.

Also, Chris, where did you get your deal and where did you unload the lens and the printer? Thanks.

  8. Can one use a zeiss lens (contax/yashica mount) on Nikon digital cameras? Are

those new zeiss lense for Nikon F designed in Germany? I know they are made in

Japan but I hear Zeiss did the design and let them made in Japan. True?

    Thanks.

  9. Hi, thanks for all the tips... I just tried to take the other battery out and it didn't work either. I did detached everything (lens and card)

I left the main battery in for a while and I can feel the back of the camera is warmer.

    something must went wrong.:((

  10. Hi, Great news to me for Xmas. my rebel XT just died after 18 months. I took a

shot, took the CF card out, then switch to a EF 35mm f2 lens on, then put the cf

card back (without putting the power off). the first thing I noticed is the

camera was not responding, the mono-lcd panel was on but not changing even I

switch the camera off. I took the battery out and in, the camera is not

    responding...

I am not sure how much this will cost me to have it fixed. Do you guys know

anyone with good reputation in boston area that can take a look at it? Thanks.

  11. Thanks Bruce. it is poorly made. I think the circuit board is completely messed up so it discharge the battery very fast. also, Roger, the straps are horizontal lines in the images I took with the adapter. SO again, it must created some interference with the main board of the camera (which scared me a lot).

Once the lens is attached there is a noise from the camera, the noise like the huge electrical current running thru the cable, then the battery dies after 1-2 minutes.

So Bruce, how do you focus by looking at the small view finder on EOS?

  12. Hi, I did some research on the forum and found a few thread about this top, but

not quite the answer I was looking for...

    I have a 350d and a zeiss 50mm/1.7 and 28mm/2.8. They both are AE I believe

since the smallest apertures aren't green. And I bought an adapter with the

    Auto Focus Confirmation from Ebay.

NOw I have received it and tried it on. First I notice the autofocus doesn't

work. then I saw the pictures I took have horizontal straps all over. after

all, it took matter of minutes my fully charged battery drained completely.

I am not sure if I did something wrong or this adapter is bad period. the

quality is lousy and it was claimed as new but the there is not packaging at all

(just some bubble wrap). I don't know if it is because of the lenses?

I hope I can buy it in U.S. but I didn't find anyone is selling one with focus

confirmation, which is what I really want to have. Do you guys have any

    recommendations on this matter?

    Thanks.

  13. Hello, the brand LH-3 costs $75 so I am thinking of a generic hood (as a rubber

one only cost 10-). I have a LH-2 and i know it screw on the outside of the

lens instead of on the filter thread. Are these generic hoods always mount on

the filter threads? Is there any disadvantage on this? And good generic hoods

(Kalt, hoya, b+w, plastic, metal?) to recommend?? Thanks a lot.
