No matter how I tried... the colors blew..

Rare to get Canadians in a sky like this. A very beautiful mood. I have to repeat a comment that I've read at PN before: The only thing wrong with this photo is that I didn't take it. (smiles)

Thank you for your thought Limasset. I'm not sure but it sounds like a good theory. Its a rather large sculpture in one of Dallas' city parks. Regards

The Pumori photos were earmarked for a presentation to be addressed primarily to the alpinists here at PN and of course open to all who might enjoy old documentary pictures. They main purpose of this is to learn how to restore old slides and negatives, some of which have suffered extensive damage over the years. Maybe the fault is mine for not spelling this out repeatedly. It is evident though that few people take the time to read the details. I submitted only one of these (Pumori 7) with the added comment that they are my fathers old expedition pictures and that I am trying to learn how to repair/restore the original slides so they become reasonably viewable. Please refrain from rating as this will not fullfill the purpose. Comments only please. Thank you

for your thoughtful comment and sentiment. You are one out of very few that have read under which parameters I've posted these here and has not attached numbers. I very much appreciate your words. Regards, Alex

One of my fathers old expedition pictures. I am trying to
repair/restore the original slides so they become reasonably
viewable. This one, fortunatly was better preserved than many others.
I would love to have input from anyone who has some experience in
this field. Thanks in advance

Very funny. Lol at Wilson. Just be glad that they don't drive (even though sometimes it seems they do)

The calm and beautiful hues are captivating. Nice to look at for longer periods of time. The colors are dead on. Everything is well placed and the mood is impecable. There is an ever so slight curve in the horizon which could be a minute degree in pov or camera level. If one were to nitpick, could be corrected at full size. Have to admit that my eye wants to wander to the left away from the main focus but its well worth presenting for aesthetics alone. Regards

Great perspective and very interesting subject. Good photo.

Only one way to get that view! And the rewards. It being in the shade seems to help the mood of this photo. Its quite unconventional.
Think Ms XIMENA had a visit from Mr Vertigo (smiles). quite personable (and personal). I especially enjoyed the qualifier that this was not a marriage proposal... lol (sweetie). Vibin, ya barely escaped this one...

Well, he's most certainly determined to get to where he's heading. It is comical. One is just not used to seeing them like this. Tack sharp image. Body posture and expression are priceless. Almost cartoonish. Fantastic!

Very impressive photo. Couldn't add anything that Salvatore and Jim have not said. Gave me an adrenalin push. Excellent matting/framing also. Regards
