Hall of the White Giant, Carlsbad Caverns.
HDR from 3 long exposures. Shot at Carlsbad Caverns National Park in
New Mexico. Photography at Carlsbad is a fun experience in that you
don't need to wake up early or stay late waiting for the right light!
Thoughts, comments and critique appreciated. Thanks for looking!

The flower looks like a California Poppy. Beautiful light and a razor sharp beetle make this a good image. Cheers!

Wonderful image.
Having never witnessed the Aurora, I'm wondering what shutter speed is needed for this kind of a shot!

Beautiful pic, Wanghan! The fog and alpen glow are nicely captured here. Unfortunately, the growth of the trees has obscured the graceful curve of the Snake river.

Thanks all for the kind comments!
Bob: I'm glad you liked the converging lines. I wasn't too pleased with the contrails in the sky until I realized I could add them to my composition. I would have loved to include a little bit of the surroundings around the rock at the bottom left, but I was perched on sloping ground and could only manage so much.
Michael: The Bisti/Ah-shi-sle-pah/De-na-zin wilderness areas are all amazingly scenic and wonderful places. You can wander around at wish, there are no trails and will find true "solitude". I highly recommend a trip to any or all of these places. Just be careful around the fragile formations!
Pierre: Thanks for the constant encouragement, appreciate it!
Tony: Sure, I'll submit it for rating and you can give it a 6!
