Last Rays

An older image of mine and probably one of the best lighting conditions I

have come across. Minutes before I took this image it was pouring rain. At

the edge of the storm the clouds cleared and the last rays of sun poked

through. Moisture in the air combined with the last rays of light created this

magnificent glow emanating from the Vine Maples. The light show lasted

long enough for me to grab three images.

The light is remarkable, and I know it lasts but a minute or so.  Having some black, contrasting limbs really made the difference here.

Exquisite lighting indeed! The reds, greens, blacks and the hint of yellow work very well to yield a beautiful image.

Very beautiful image and you got the best out of this forest and with remarkable lighting and fine details, the colors are so original and of great add to the composition of this amazing capture.
