Better in b/w.

I love how you used the multiple reflections (in the water and in the window). Also, the addition of space above their heads and choosing not to include the entire water reflection adds to the composition.

A picture that speaks a thousand words. The composition and color work beautifully together, not to mention what her freckles add to the photo.
-
Nikos, but the facial expressions are precisely what make the photo work. The clenching of the handa and the look on her face truly make you feel that she is a fairy ready to fly.
-
It worked beautifully! You captured her emotion and the composition and cross-process adds to that emotion to fully get the feeling across to the viewer. Well done.

IMO she is too centered and with the plain door for a background and her not facing us it makes for a dull photo. Next time try adding some of the action on the right by panning your lens that direction, maybe even cutting a bit of the bride out of the photo.

Her face reminds me of a painting which makes me want to look further into the image, something I don't typically feel in a portrait. Nicely done.

Kristin, thanks for the idea. The bride (a friend of mine) had mentioned that she loved the photo except for the fact that the size was showing (it is actually a size 10, which you can tell if you see the print rather than this image online) but since it wasn't a huge size I wasn't concerned. I never paid enough attention when I scanned it in to realize that it could be seen as a 14. Thanks for the comment.

What a unique image. And how did you get them to do it?

Great use of lines. I especially like the lower 2/3 of the photo as someone else stated, though I don't know if I'd crop out the top 1/3. Then it might feel as if you are missing something.

The green is wonderful and the slight addition of the trees adds a marvelous frame. Don't change a thing.

What a great use of color, light, composition, DOF...I could go on and on. You captured this scene beautifully.

The angle you shot at added with the sky and greenery made this one stand out to me in your portfolio. Very nice.

What an artistically beautiful image.
