Nice photo, but for my taste the lighting is too flat, and could possibly use more contrast.

Thanks.

Now I remember why I haven't posted here in a long time!!! People rating this photo thinking "He should have had a light on her face, you cant see her eyes!" Its called "style," something sorely lacking here. Do you really think that I did that unintentionally? Look at some of my other work, if I wanted her lit "perfectly" I could have but I chose not to.

I like the middle one best, critiques/comments appreciated.
thank you.

If you don't have a polarizer you can also place a peice of black paper over the part of the window that is directly reflection on the watch face itself, it takes a little time to get it positioned and to the right size but it works really well.

I could see some people having a problem with the horizon line not being streight but I think it gives some motion to the photo, as if the ball is going to start rolling downhill at any moment. Great shot, Great title, 7o/6a

Beautiful, the threads in the jeans really make this shot for me, great use of DOF.

Self portrait, the idea came from a shoot I had a while ago. The
grahic artist kept complaining about things and I felt like
saying, "If you think you could do better, why don't you do." It
was my least favorite shoot EVER.
Thanks for the comments/critiques.

Thanks for the comments, Yes I did shoot it wide angle on purpose. This model is quite tall and I wanted to make her look dainty and small.
Good Luck with the MF, I love it, Try some MF slide film once you get the hang of it, BEAUTIFUL.

You may be able to make the product look good that way, but finding a proper place that will let you take an hour or more to set up and shoot is difficult, and quite frankly I've never even approched any locations about anything like that. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks Chris I totally agree with you except the part about the rim light, I think the (left) text side would be to visually heavey then. The reason for the clothes - we are looking at getting lu lu lemon as a sposer for the calendar so we used some of their clothes. Sucking up for charity is what I call it ;) Thanks

There are parts of this image that I like but there are a lot of little things that I don't like, for example, the yellow sign in the top right, all of the blown out white space behind the model, her facial expression, and even the pose. Skin tone and exposure on the clothes is Fantastic though, it is obvious you know what you are doing. 5/5
