This photo was taken with medium format slide film. The only thing

I have done was to strech it a bit. The color is all real, the

arbutus tree on the right came out very red because the room next to

me had their lights on.(this was taken from my hotel balcony)

Anything you would have done differently? thanks

I call this one Daliphants, because the long legs of the dock things

look like those surrealistic elephants Dali painted.

Its got texture, great colour, gradual tones, negative space, everything I love to see in an abstract photo. Good Job

I think you may improve this photo by cropping it differently. Subject center is just not visually interesting. If you made it more of a panorama, say a 4x10 and kept the boy a little closer to the right hand side of the shot I think it would look better, none the less it is a neat shot.

Its all in the eyes, Beautiful desaturated colour and nice depth.
