  1. Hair Algae - I fight it every year about this time in my fish tank.

Nice shot - my ONLY quibble is that TO ME - it's upside down. I would rather have the flow top right top bottom left. Maybe because people read DOWN the page.

Nice idea but not quite. The color is a little boring and I feel if everythign was sharp and in focus it would help a lot.

The problem is all the focus is in the middle - your eyes go to the sun and then travel to the right side twig thing - the sides of the photo are a waste land.

To bad you could not get the sun in the upper left hand corner - it would have helped.

  2. A shot like this looks great live but unless it's dead on focused front to back and crystal clear - it's just a mountain shot.

It's a GREAT shot to show offive workers and so forth and it might look better larger - in fact I'm sure it does.

I liked the B&W one better!!!

    Casting Shadows

Wonderful - I'll take it without the shadows though. HEY - we all have an opinion.

I love the pic though - you must have a good camera. LOL - SORRY - I hear that all the time! Had to say it here! :-)

    Beautiful!

Excellent!! the ONLY thing I wish was that the road side flowers were crystal clear.

Otherthen that - I LOVE it. I'd like to see some of the other expermient shots you took that we don't see. (just for giggles).

I'd be proud of this one.

  3. I really liked this. I have skimmed past so many that it really takes something to jump out to get a response.

I'd like to know how long the exposer was.

The only flaw was the lack of anything going on in the upper right hand corner but, it just focus's the attention to the main part of the pick.

The water draws you in, then the eye travels to the bright flower near the bottum, then your attention is then pulled back to the red, the whole process then repeats.

A very flowing picture like the stream.

I tried to see what happened if you cropped the right side but actually the upper right acts almost like "white space". It gives your eyes a chance to rest for a second before being pulled back.

    interesting.

    "A Tropical Night"

WOnderfull shot, I'm going to USVI in a few months (164 days but who is counting) and this REALLY gets me dreaming.

I can just feel a soft sea breeze and hear the rustle of the leaves.

    Excelent.
