LOL - I was flipping past images and a sure Madison trademark caught my eye. Nice use of The Chair :-)

I have one on my back porch but when I tried to moce it away from the clutter - the delicate snow fell.

    Nice job.

I'm a little disappointed, typically I never give out the big numbers. If I REALLY like something I'll give it a 6/6 and move on.

Then on later dates if that same photo catchs my eye I look at it again and if I'm in a good mode, I'll up it.

Well, I came across this shot for perhaps the 3rd time (I guess) and went to up it. CAN'T BE DONE! It's there already. NO EXTRA CREDIT FOR YOU. LOL

I have already asked my daughter how it's done (she's a graphic artist). Excellent dude!!

Dean - I also have the same problem although I THINK my monitor is going bad. My shots look great at home and to light at work. I'm 2 months from a new complete system am open to suggestions/

With that said - GREAT shot I can't give it a 7/7 (I only give those on the 2nd or 3rd looks) but right now 6/6 but with an UP arrow!!

OK - I looked at other ratings - all over the board arn't they. Interesting!

You might want to try cropping so you ONLY have the balloons full frame - just a burst of color. Somehow the people are lost.
  1. This is nice but rather static - what you should try next time is have the path less vertical. Right now my eyes just follow the path, never looking side to side. Once I'm at the top . . .well, the picture is over, I need a reason for my eyes to come back into the shot.

I suggest doing a search on the net for The Rule of Thirds in Photography. You have the ideas but not quit the technique. Looking forward for more though.

    Where to?

I love how the light flows from the lake to the stream. I can't decide if you should crop out the raf right tree. I cover it up and I feel closed in a tad. Excellent vision.
