This is good !!!!!!!! the capture of her face ..
-
Very nice-original-interesting except the lighting on the right side (on her hand) which is a little bit harsh.
-
I like him, he is very well presented the guy. And the square format is perfect for this. Seems a bit soft like not well focused but appart from that... I think that you are very good to capture interesting portraits
-
Very nice photo with interesting expressions, very succesful lighting, sharp and very good exposure. The problem is that the subject is the focused man in the middle and we do not see his eyes. We see the eyes of the man on the right and this takes attention away from the main subject. if we could be able to see who is looking the middle man it would be enough to balance the photo...

I think that the lady makes the picture, and this is a good example of a photograph that centred subject works. Now the only suggestion would be to increase the contrast and sharpness a bit. And one question, did you use a tripod?

Amazing photo, it works, the mood is amazing. Almost everything fits. Maybe a little soft

Very nice photo, the eye contact is perfect and it works. It would be better if the woman on the right side wore something less white or more simple, but whar can you do? One question (maybe it is basic) what hpc means?

Thanks a lot for your comments. Although I do think that the image is interesting I can understand your points. Or, to be honest, I do not really know if I understand so I will do my self-critique and if you pay another visit you will tell me if I am right. Eitherway, in the photo, balance is missing and the geometry is in a way slipping off the mountain and fells into the lake !!! :-) The photo to hold would need to be shifted a bit on the right and maybe a human being inside it.......

The picture is taken in Switzerland near Montreux. Inside the clouds
is the lake of Geneve (or lac leman) and on the other side we can see
a part of the Alps belonging to France. Please comment...

Thanks a lot for commenting on my portfolio. I searched your photographs and I think the winner is this one. I am also impressed by the "island series" which are technically very correct. Either way this one is an amazing composition, I prefer the IR version. It is really like it came out of a dream. Bravo!

Impressive photograph, very nice light, bravo

You are right and actually using velvia and then turning to B&w, is kind of ironic. :-)
-
Nice photo... simple but nice. What about b&w? Nice place Hania .. I would like to be there for some days.
-
Same thing about the contrast... or make it a bit more sharp. Apart from that the photograph is very appealing and I would not change anything.
-
like a painting, classic but nice
-
I like a lot this photograph and I would like to hear your critiques
and comments

Very nice photograph and composition, the lines are well thought. My only comment is that I would prefer a bigger version
-
Hello Nicholas, one of your most impressive photos, according to my tastes. Composition is well thought and actually perfect. Maybe a bit more contrast or sharpness....
-
Thanks a lot for your comments. This photo was taken with a digital compact sony, which (each camera has its strenths I suppose) meters amazingly well in snow.
-
Unfortunately, it is soft, a bit washed out and low contrast. But the patterns, the symmetry and the composition they are good and very interesting. With a clear blue sky and more vivid colours, the same subject, would be excellent

As far as web pictures go this is perfect !!! Bravo

I like a lot the wide angle, high viewpoint. I like the hat, glasses, the photo is quite original. My main comment though is that the cadre is too tight and I do not see a lot of the suroundings. So, for me when I look the photo I cannot really understand that it is a flea market. So, when I look at the photo I see just a lost old lady. Looking through the folders of Marc Williams I could find photos that I liked much much more.
