It relaxes me ... so I think it is successful. In this kind of image (the relaxing in the sun kind) I do not think that the details of the subject and the exposure is that important (IMO).

The picture is very nice, colors also, and the line of the brick fence is working... but I do not paticularly like the sky on top (maybe it has something with the filter) and I would have cropped it a bit

I think (I am relatively new in photography) that you should not have the straght line exactly in the center of your image. Also the lightning is a little flat if you come early morning or sunset you can have a nicer picture. In your portfolio you have some sunsets with nice colors if you combine these colors with these line leading to them you can have a classical but very nice image. Also clone out the signs in photoshop

It is a very nice shot I believe, you are right that it is a bit bright. I would crop a bit tighter (maybe), I would also try greyscale (through the channels of ps).

It is a very nice shot (it is a little washed out). I would crop a bit the sky as at least at top nothing dramatic is happening there. I think that this way more attention would go on the "sunset capturing wave"

From your nudes I like this one more. I do not think it is made to please the male eye it is a bit harsh and this is the main that I like it also. It is not made to flatter the female body and that makes it more real in a human way. I have never rated another picture in your portfolio (if I remember correctly) and this one goes as 7/7

very very nice picture, amazing I would say, theatrical. The picture tells the story, it has the lady, the sign declares the reason she is there and that she is a protestant, it has the cops, a part of the white house also (so it tells also the place). Amazing photojournalism. But also because the timing and lighting is very good, like it was stage. The picture also has very good aesthetics.

If I remember correctly I saw an exhibition in San Francisco museum of Modern Art with shots on porn production sets. As a documentary image i do not feel it is bad, quite the contrary. Certainly does not deserve a rating lower than average, especially on originality. However, due to the provocative nature of the subject I think that this image is not suitable for rating but for discussion. From an aesthetics point of view maybe I would be interested to have a capture only with the camera and the gay couple.
