Dear Greg, Your constructive critique is certainly appreciated. You drew my attention to some elements of the image I hadn't thought of as significant, and yet it turns out they can be distracting! It happens all too often that the author of a photo doesn't (or is unable to) play the role of an unbiased assessor of his/her own work. The image above is clearly the case of such visual impression omissions committed by the author before publishing the photo ;) Thanks again and regards Tomasz

  10.
I really appreciate your keeping this thread alive, Michael, thanks. My today's entry is a photo taken in the Wilanow Park, one of the must-see places for all visitors to Warsaw:

  11.
I'll permit myself to post one more in this thread, as it's a curiosity of some sort. The picture was taken last year on AGFA PankineK cine film that had expired around 1960! Tests indicated its actual speed as 50 ASA (zone I density measurement above base+fog). I didn't think the film would record any image. I developed it in my faithful FX-37 with some extra bromide, for a time I normally develop ISO 400 films.

  13.
Bill - Old Town, Warsaw. As you can see, it's kinda fake, as all the taps are attached to the same pipe. It's an ad of all the stuff they serve there, placed in the window. Thank you for the kind words, Sir! :)
I think this thread is a great idea, somehow summarising what we have learned from the more educational threads ;)
