    The encounter

Stephane Robichaud, what you described is exactly what a photo like this is SUPPOSED to do. It's not supposed to be obvious.. there doesn't HAVE to have an obvious context around what you are seeing... The very fact that this photo made you ask those questions is a testiment to how this photo is such a grand success. 7s, for sure.

The only thing I like about this, is the lighting and the colors from her clothing. I don't care for the model much, and I think the background was a poor choice here.

Funny how people are commenting on how made up she is, and the size of her breasts, instead of the composition, lighting, pose, etc... Ironically, I don't find her even the slightest bit attractive.

Gorgeous... i would hang this on my wall. I only wish that the roots of the tree were not cropped off, on the bottom. Would of made this a 7 for me, easy. Keep up the good work!

    Goal!!

Very cool crop, but you would have a stronger photo if the distance from the top was equal to the distance from the left edge. I.E, crop a smidge off the top, or add a smidge to the left.

    Great idea, and great colors.

What is the test? I think this photo would be signifigantly stronger minues the view through the pillars, and the step lower left (or more of it). Standing a few inches to the right and a few feet farther forward or backwards, would of made this a success...

Thanks for the comments. The fog was really cool, and it was fun to capture. In this particular case, A looser crop introduced other nearby trees, which were actually more distracting. I would also loved to have had this in a horizontal composition, with the tree 1/3rd off the right edge... but alas, couldn't do it.

    Thanks

Soft model in soft light... perfect success. And yes, it is all I can do to keep from commenting on the model herself. I find it pleasantly ironic how such a beautiful model can somehow distract from the photography itself.
