I put a couple of rolls of film through the camera and couldn't see any skipping problems. The one thing I did notice was the mirror lock up. I used this when I shot my initial rolls. When I was playing with it last night, it seems that the mirror comes down instantly - not giving the shutter time to open. I tried this with slow speeds just to be sure.
Is this a problem with these cameras or am I being paranoid?
Thanks - Steve

I just bought a 105mm Pentax lens from them. They rated it as a 9+. The lens is essentially brand new. I was very pleased with their rating system and service.

I recently purchased a Pentax 67 on EBAY. The guy assured me it had
little use and it really does look like a brand new camera.
I went out the other morning and shot three rolls through it. I just
processed them and I was missing A LOT of shots. I would have three
shots in a row and then nothing until the end of the roll where there
would be the last exposure. One of my rolls only had TWO shots on it.
Can someone give me some advice? Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks - Steve

Thank you all for your advice. I ordered a newer Pentax lens today.
Thanks again.

Hi Everyone -
Can anyone tell me if there is an advantage to buying the older
Takumar lenses over the newer Pentax lenses? Is one sharper than the
other?
Let's use the 105mm f/2.4 for an example. Is there a difference in
sharpness between the older and newer lenses.
I'm new to the Pentax 67 system, having just bought a body on EBAY.
Thank you - Steve

Hi Everyone -
It's been many years since I have made enlarged negatives, but I want to get
back into it. Does anyone have any suggestions concerning materials?
I'm planning on enlarging 35mm negatives for contact printing.
Many thanks in advance.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I'm going to try the dowel method first, but I
was afraid that I might have to remove the front panel.
Thanks again - Steve

Hi Everyone -
I just bought an old Ricoh Diacord TLR that I would like to convert to a
pinhole. I need to remove the viewing lens to do this. I managed to get the
rear element out fairly easily, but the front element is a beast. For those of you
who don't know this camera, it's very similar to the Rollei and Yashica TLRs.
Can anyone give me advice on how to remove the front element of the taking
lens?
Thank you in advance.

I'm thinking of purchasing a Pentax 645 camera used (possibly off EBAY). Is
there anything I should watch out for? Is one model better than another?
Suggested lenses?
Any advice from Pentax 645 users would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks - Steve

Hi -
I have a Fuji GS645 (the folder) that I bought used. When I bought it the foam
on the inside was beginning to disentegrate. It is very messy (sticky) and it
gets on the film. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get this
replaced?
Thanks in advance.

Hello All -
Can anyone give me a recommendation on where to get an older Nikkor
Lens AI'd? Also, does anyone know approximately how much it would cost?
Thanks - Steve
