While yes her lips and eyes are pretty, I think this portrait far exceeds beauty.

This portrait reminds me of a Mona Lisa like expression.

I like this pic. It has a lot going for it. The hands are the intrest here and she has nice ones. With woderful skin. The contrast is nice also. What I would like to see is her all the way over to one side. Like your other pic, with her on the brick wall.

A bit to much for me also but what bugs me about this pic is that the bricks arn't level. :-) Just a pet peeve.

Again I think DOF could have helped the photo, maybe a 2.8 or less. Considering your camera has a very small sensor I guess DOF isn't an option. I think you cut her body off either to much or not enough. Just some thoughts.

I feel it is to soft. I think just using a 2.8 would have given a nice soft effect just due to the DOF. But that is just MO.

I like a little more color.

I am on the other side of the coin. The blue and blur or focus makes it very unintresting. I looked over the series and did not find any of it appealing IMHO.

Love the pic, not the flare.

While I enjoy your work I don't think this is your best photo, actually I think you have many that are better but that is just my opinion.

With the woman or without this is a great pic.

Anything I can do to improve this. I like the off focus and that

only parts of there faces are showing. Am I just bias and this photo

stinks and doesn't work at all?

I like the pic, a lot, aside from the technical issues.

You rarely see people taking any pics in this fjord by the water or even walking by the water for that matter.

The Boar tide can be raging and the silt can make it like quicksand.

Well done.

I think this pic has quite a bit of emotion. The softness and sharp eyes are perfect. Well done.

Yes sepia or B&W is a better choice. You could also do some scratching and other things to give it that "REDRUM" kind of look :-)

I really love this pic, my only nit is that I wish you had choosen a flat black cloth to drape so there was no sheen.

First off I love this classic style and you are extremly good at it. I must however compliment the mother of this model. She gave birth to a women with perfect facial features. :-)

 

I agree with the framing being not right. The grass rather than showing DOF interferes with the picture. I do however like the pic overall. The only thing I would do different would be to use the diffuse glow filter.

I really like the DOF.
