I am just unable to give this a 6/6, I tried but was brought back again. I just wish you had not cut the young ladys face in half but you probably felt lucky to get what you got. Great job!

The only thing that bugs:-) me about this photo is the leg coming out of the geckos back.

Suffering hmmmm. The mom (probable single mom) doesn't have a (happy face or joyous look) nor would I say apathy, more hardship than anything. For us men who don't care for children daily by ourselves, we may not see the suffering. I don't feel dirty faces and starvation with tattered closes are necessary.

I feel the struggle in this picture.

This could easily be a novel cover.
