It's so mystery to create a face on water. Looks interesting and creative!

Nice to know you like this picture, Wyle! I can't imagine how the mosquito will stand still on a leave. Just a trail to take this picture. Purely luck for this picture :D

Nice to know you like this picture! This butterfly is really so small (about 1cm) and its color was so close to the field. I initially ignored its existence while I was passing by the field. Just like Kathryn, I aware its eyes and antennae firstly. It's so lucky that the butterfly thought itself being hidden in background. I was thus able to take a close shot about 2cm apart from it. The aperture was set small enough to show you the details about its hairs, antennae and eyes. At the same time, I had to keep the aperture large enough to blur out the background. The shutter speed was about 0.5 sec. Both of us froze to take this shot in one take. The B/W (gray) color of this picture particularly gives me the feeling of being hidden. I like this hidden mood so much.

I'm usually attracted by the beautiful wings of big buterfly. No
wonder the eyes of the small buterfly are so charming. Would like to
share with you its beautiful eyes here. Cheers :D

Thanks for your comments, Jay & Ettore!

It's my pleasure you comment this picture. By visiting your folder, all your pictures are so great and impressive. They are indeed inspiring me, especially for your night photos & churches. As a beginner, I always face the problem in focusing and exposure for the night shot. Would you mind advising me how to make a sharp focus at night or in church? Thanks very much! Cheers :D

Thank you for your advice! I'll pay particular care of the vertical axis of the foreground in future. By the way, I face the focus problem so often for the night shot. Would you mind telling me how to make a sharp focus at night?

I'm just a beginner getting experience less than a year. Micro of flower is my first exercise to learn how to take photos. After almost a thousand times of experiements, I posted my first flower here last September. Then, I started portrait last December. Except two posted in this folder, other portraits are really so poor that I reject all of them. In fact, thanks so much the photographers here! Just like you, they do give me lots of good examples, comments, encouragements and demonstrations. I'm thus able to grow up healthily in photo.net. To learn more, would you mind sharing me any flaws you've found in my folder? Cheers :D

The blue color is very impressive. The lighting and exposure are so good that the details of castle are well shown on the picture. Good shot!

The color and composition are interesting. The sunlight spots out the bee and makes us more focusing. Good Shot! Cheers :D

The idea, color and composition are so good. While I'm looking at your picture, a silly idea flashes in my mind. What this picture looks like if a small stone is thrown onto the "Sky" to create a bit ripples?? Cheers :D

With your sharing, I'll keep trail on portrait photos this year. Hopefully, I may reach half of your level in a day. Cheers :D

Nice to know you like this picture! In view of your babes folder, my skill is so green and trivial. Would like to hear more of your advice. Please feel free to voice out any flaws of my pictures in future. Thank you!

I saw this little boy at the bus stop. His mother put him on her
shoulder and was getting on the bus in a hurry. As the time is not
quite enough, I just took one photo of his sleepy look. To improve my
picture, would like to hear any of your comments. Have a nice day!

Thanks very much for your advice, Troy! As this flower is just blooming at the end of winter, wind is blowing for a whole day. I took this photo in manual mode. May I know further what happens to my camera if it is set in flash mode?

Thank you for rating this photo! I've visited your folder. Youe photos are great and impressive. Please let me know its flaws so as to improve my skill further. Thank you :D

This lantern was hanged at the main entry of an estate. As it looked pretty good, I took a quick shot and posted it here. Just like the Chinese new year flowers, people will keep this lantern for the first 15 days of Lunar New Year. Then, all will be thrown away as rubbish. Perhaps, photo is a good way to keep memory, feeling and the nice image. Do you think so?

Although the Valentine's Day was just pass, I'd like to give this
rose to all laides as a gift. Hope you may like it. Have a nice day!

You really get the sharp eyes. I got the focusing problem with this tiny flower this morning. The wind made the flower moving up and down. My camera cannot make a sharp focus on a moving object. To overcome this problem, would you mind giving me some tips? Thank you!

I fully buy your idea that Rose is a common topic which is difficult to make a good picture. I've tried this topic almost hundred times but none of them can give me the soft & sweet feeling. This picture was taken just after a rain evening a week ago. Although it's the best one of mine up to this moment, I still cannot catch the wanted feeling. That's why I post it and invite critiques. As a beginner, would like to hear more of your advice to make it better. Cheer :D

The color is interesting. It's absolutely not easy to capture its details. How can you get it?
