As I back home so late, sorry for my belated reply. You all get the sharp eyes. It's really a metal statue of Venus. Her right hand is holding a clock with pendulum. The blur effect is created from the motion of its pendulum. In fact, I share the same feeling as Peter's. The blur effect is quite interesting. Have a nice day :D

I feel "she" is so sexy. Would like to share her elegant posture

with you here. Well, what's it? Perhaps, as a fun, just let you to

guess it. Have a good day :D

Just worry it flies away. I dare not move so close to the BB Fly. In view of your "Green Love", my skill of this shot is still so green. Would like to hear your comments on the weakness of my pictures. Cheers :D

A baby fly is taking a rest at the grass. As it looks as a baby with

only three hairs on his head. Quite funny! Would like to share its

bald look with you here. Cheers :D

  1. Hong Kong is crowded with the buildings. However, this city seems

distorted somewhat with these high buildings. Perhaps, you may also

get the similar feeling in this pictures. Cheers :D

  2. Wow, that's great you're a painter! I believe your sense of beauty should be better than mine. Perhaps, this picture would become more impressive on your canvas. You are welcomed to add in your ideas to transpose this picture as your artwork. Cheers :D
  3. This is the first time I take a shot at back-light. My skill is still so green. It takes times for me to have more practice. Would like to hear more of your advice on my weakness. Cheers :D

Your DOF control is really pretty good. I get a similar 90mm Macro len on hand but always failing to handle the focusing and depth as good as yours. If possible, would you mind giving me some tips on using the Micro len? Cheers :D
  4. By setting the depth as 1mm, the backgroud is blurred so abstract. I

like the color and the curve. Would like to hear your comments on

this approach taking the photo of a flower. Cheers :D

  5. Nice to know you like the color, Jennifer! I shared the same feeling as yours while I's taking this photo. The color is a bit soft and the mood seems something like oil paint :D
  6. The garden looks comfort and relax this morning. I'd like to share my

feeling with you through this picture. What do you think about it?

Please feel free to raise your comments to improve it. Cheer :D

It's the first time I see a shot taking a flower in such an angle. Although I've got some photos about Orchid, I still fail to make use of its curves. Good sense of abstract and beauty :D

Yes, you're right that the focus is not too sharp. While I was taking this photo, there's winds but it's not much strong. Perhaps, it's also due to the focusing problem of my DC with the yellow (or white) objects. I always find difficult to make a sharp focus with the object of such colors. Would you mind giving me some tips to overcome this problem? Thank you :D

Good capture! It's really not easy to make sharp focus for the yellow flower. But, you've done it successfully. May I know if this shot is taken by AF or MF? Cheers :D
  7. Your flower is indeed so soft and sweet. However, it seems unable to lead people a feeling of Spring. Spring always gives me the feeling of cool & wet in Hong Kong. The grass and the flowers are commonly coated with the dew drops on their surfaces in the morning. If the grass or flower get just a few water drops, Spring will come out much obviously in your picture. Any way, your flower is still so attractive :D
