This photo catches my attention, and makes me think of my own childhood. The fact that it is a half portrait, does not bother me, somehow the hand eases the contrast with the background, keeping my eyes on the child.

This picture is almost like an oil painting. Colors and lighting are almost unreal. The subject is unusual, thats why people look closer when they first see it (like me) and this makes it great.

I like to shoot people the way you shoot. I really like this picture as it is, its outstanding, the whiteness doesn't bother me and the framing is original as well...
