It feels like you are trying to do two things at once with this photo. The top branches would have been quite nice on their own. If you wanted to include the bottom row as well, I think it would have been better with a wider view. Oh, and thank you for your insightful critiques. I look forward to more of your photos. I looked at your portfolio and can see what you are trying to do but it doesn't quite make it. A lot of the statues are simply "there" and the background does not give an indication as to what you are trying to say. Try juxtipostions/contrasts/etc.

Nice idea but this one doesn't seem to work. The wires take away from the cleaness that you were trying to get.
