The journey is the destination...  I see respect of the younger boy for the older one.  Love the background, very orderly and all is right with the world...

Cross-eyed bird talks to me and I will kick the bucket but who cares.  Maybe like to see bird head higher to cross the horizon a bit for bigger impact.  Rider on the dark horse coming for me, timeless saguaro, gentle clouds, shadows in the moonlight.  I like this... dark and provocative...

Textures in arch to the left very interesting!  Fencing what for?  Eyes want to see more of Euclid Public SQ 1223.  Tease me...  Great photograph!  Love the shadows.

Walter, no not dead yet...  Haven't even though much about photonet the last couple of years so I am now dusting off the cobwebs on my account.  I have been taking pictures although not nearly enough landscapes, sigh.

 

Ryder did try do eat and run the next day of the hunt test so he failed that one.  There's no eating in retrieving...

Civil War Reenactment

Rob Harrison "The Tumbling Bear" returns to the air eight months after surviving an accidental impact with the ground at Modesto in May of 2008. He was performing a maneuver called "Rolling on the Deck" which is a series of rolls about 50 feet above the runway. Rob had his ankles reconstructed and has been walking again for only three months...

 

Here is a photo of Rob in his ZLIN 50 from the Cable Airport show in 2006.

 

The yellow plane gave its life protecting Rob in the accident. This white one is his wife's Zlin 50 while the new one is in the paint shop getting a coat of shiny yellow...

Hi Kim! Whoa that was a long trip these guys took. Last I saw them was in Fairbanks Alaska. I wonder if these are the same ones... I like the low perspective you have captured here. Looking forward to more wintering bird photos.

Wow this is awesome...

Aaaah the flowing waters. Very nicely done. Sharp focus on the rocks is a good anchor and contrast with the softness of the water.

I might like to see him looking right at the camera with that hint of a smile and a bit less tension in the hands. Lighting and composition are working well. Nice pose and result!

Hi Chris, Thanks for commenting on this. I had great fun exploring the forest at the summit the fine morning this was captured. This was actually captured at dawn so I expect the sunset shot to be backlit which could be quite nice! Let me know when you want to go and I will meet you there... ;)

I always liked the hard directional lighting of this series you shot with the hassie, the symbolism of death, lights out boxes empty flower wilted and coyote ... well I'm sure he was a pest anyways. All seen in the vivid light of the present. Hope you are doing well and having a lot of fun...

This is the western view of Mobius Arch in the Alabama Hills. The

mountain framed by the arch is Mt Whitney. The half moon setting

above and to the left of the formation appears quite small due to the

wide angle used... Comments and critique are welcome as always, thanks.
