...a place close to my heart...

Great shot, very moody - lots of detail for a difficult lighting condition without filters.
-
Stunning Portrait - yes the DOF is crucial and you have thrown it out of focus perfectly... the whites of the eyes highlighting and putting life into a highly decorated face...
-
great colours, great textures, great composition, great idea and patience, great picture....

I had never attempted a Double Exposure before but seeing as it was
an un-used option on my camera i thought i'd give it a go... this is
best viewed with the larger option...
any comments appreciated...

Does this need cropping? - i've tried cutting some off the right-hand
side, but still keep coming back to the full frame.

thanks ellen... don't mind getting the 3's but when you get doubles 1's without constructive comment it says more about the person rating than the picture itself... i thought this site was about pictures... eh Giuseppe

David this is a pure photograph taken at Bells Beach. This is a real stone with Real Times New Roman chisled into it... so it must be posible to do... The only thing i've done in PS is as Stated and that is to use a small amount of 'Smart Blur' to reduce the grain of the original scan.

Spirit of surfing... re-done with a touch of Smart Blur in PS.
