the grass in the foreground is a bit ditracting imo. the footbridge also seems a bit out of place. stunning reflection though. Was it tough getting a good angle on it?
-
great light. a little uncomfortable with the way the canvas is split. perhaps cropping from the top and right would work better?

i adjusted the contrast/brightness, color balance, and hue sat in ps. I also burned in the car a bit. The afternoon light was harsh and i lost alot of the original color. I also removed a shdow at the top. thanks for looking.

compositionally there is a little too much weight on the left hand side of the photo imo. The tones are very nice.

when strip malls show their wear. im really intrested in what
Rosenquist refers to as "those things that have gone out of style
but are not yet nostalgic".

part of some experimentation with situations where exterior and
interior lighting compete unnaturally. comments and ratings welcome.

added a very delicate vignette to try an add a bit more distress to
the photo....comments and ratings welcome.

foreground.

i get my 35mm negatives scanned in as 8mb images. for some reason
the images continue to show grain. i use 200 speed film. although
this was done is hrash sunlight i seem to believe my digital skills
are not up to snuff. any comments on how to get the quality to come
through better in ps. though perhaps it is a iso issu. comments.

this is a wonderfully orginal shot as is. i like how the tight crop accentautes the distance between the subjects. the color is fantastic.
-
comments on framing appreciated...enjoyed the color here so i framed
it accordingly.

Hey Nicholas....intended as an abstract...didn't realize the similarity to the flag until I was working it up in ps.
