Nice shape(s) and contrast. It reminds me of the advertisement (Sony?) where the listener's hair is blown back by his speakers.... Nice shot. cc

I am never going back to Balanced Rock again. I'm hoping that I can
live with at least one of the images I've created in the past 2
months and countless trips up there in rain/snow/sun and whatever
else. Thanks--I'd appreciate your input. cc

Great composition and seemingly great details, but then it looks like a "paint" filter or something. cc

Great! Great planning and experimentation! cc

The reflection is lost 3 feet to the left unfortunately. Also, there were a couple road signs between myself and Balanced rock so I had to juggle obscuring them with angle and/or vegetation. Thanks for the comments. cc

I've been trying for some time this fall/winter to get a great
reflection of Balanced Rock in Arches N.P.. It's much more difficult
than I had originally thought as the best reflecting pools are on
the back (shady) side of the formation. Then there's the issue of
clouds--Great light with No clouds, or Poor Light with Great
Clouds. This is a compromise between the options. cc

What a set of great reflections and still water. Colors are very good as well. cc

I like the crop because the top pink flower is slightly covered by the leaf--thus the lower red flowers add a nice addition of color. cc

Terrific editing! Great idea and execution. cc

Dandy of am image you got there. Congrats. cc

Thanks--I realize this looks a bit red. Your feedback is most
welcome. cc

13Jan05: Just learned about converting images from RGB to sRGB for web-posting. So this is a better version I just up-loaded. cc

Great shot--I feel nice and warm here in the office. cc

This is a new composition I tried at Mesa Arch. Winter Solstice
2004. Velvia 50, f22. cc

Nice job on this one, Mike. I tend to like this shot a bit wider, but the sunburst is great here--and no lens flare. Good work. (I just posted a Mesa Arch from the Winter solstice '04). cc

Just brilliant! Congrats! cc

Very beautiful--almost erotic. The blur (shifting sand perhaps?) in the center is just a touch distracting. Great image. cc

Excellent! Great use of the filters! cc

This one is the best of the 3 I've seen so far--I like the movement in the foreground compared with the steadfast tree in the distance. The very warm light works well also with the strong black of the tree. cc

Seems a bit dark on my monitor, but I like the mood. cc
