Nice mood with the dark trees. Too bad he wasn't a bit closer. cc

Nice idea--seems like the colors of the foreground apples could be punched-up a bit. cc

Thanks for looking. I was hoping to find a nice wide-angle
reflection shot of this arch, but there were no clouds, and the
photo was a pit dull without them. Anyway, found this tighter
reflection in this little pool. Your critiques appreciated. cc

Indeed my lense is f4.0. When I "Added a new lens" in the Photo.net database, someone else had already enterered 45mm, F2.8, and I mistakenly clicked that option. I've just never gone back and corrected it...... Sorry, cc.

Lovely! The DOF is terrific as are the colors. cc

Love the colors in spite of the cloudy day. Great composition as well. cc

Great. Maybe the blacks could be darkened just a bit, otherwise a great image. cc

Michael: this hasn't been getting great ratings, but there's something that I like about it. The tones and textures are both quite interesting. I think that there is a lack of focus (subject matter) that might turn some folks off. The split tree in the right foreground could be a photo by itself. Likewise, the beautiful striped tree in the background is worthy of it's own image. For what it's worth... cc

Malcom: You'll have to look me up next time you're in Moab. There are a couple of ways up there--neither is easy enought to explain here. I'd like to go back up there, but lately I've been too wrapped-up with other locations. cc

Wonderful! Love the textures and mood. The composition seems A-ok to me with the headstone and church lined-up (Although it would probably work from other angles as well). Nice work. cc

Terrific shot. As stated above: Wish it were mine. Congrats. cc

Wonderful. Love the subtle colors. I was out this morning to shoot sunrise and got caught up looking at frost. Unfortunately, I never found anything worth shooting (frost anyway). cc

Great stuff in this folder, Dave. Keep up the good work. cc

Super--duper.... What a great eye you have. cc

I use an Epson 3200 flatbed. Most of the time I scan at 3200dpi for 6x7 transparencies--that gives me enough MegaPixels to print a 16x20 @ 360dpi. If I have difficult lighting, I will scan at 16-Bit, but this image was scanned at 8-Bit, 3200dpi. cc

If only we could see her eyes--. Very nice regardless. cc

Wonderful drama--great composition. cc

Beautiful model; nice composition. cc

Interesting idea. I think the competing perspectives are a little distracting though (the cracked earth seems to be flipped 90 degrees).

Great effect. cc

Very nice, Gary. I appreciate the DOF. Would perhaps be even nicer to get in closer/tighter on the droplet. cc

Nice work. cc
