I quite like this man and the symbol with it. Thanks for your comment on my photos. Now since you add in your biography you wanted helpfull critique (and since we have the same job!) here's my advice, which is not necessarily the best! I think you should construct your pictures, or your portofolios. Too often your pics resume to taking a detail, an object, a view. This is fine if you construct a homogeneous portofolio around the same subject (like your flowers... but we've already seen too many here on PN), but for individual pics, it is not sufficient. Try to construct elements in the pic so that it tells something, or, before taking the pic, think about what you want to say. Take a look at Ben Goossens (on PN) every single pic has a story, rings a bell somewhere...
Yours, AM

Sorry Thomas, I'm sure viewing on a screen is to be blamed, but the rock is a petrified woman. I suppose you get the picture now. As for stopping down, its a difficult issue. I have to keep a certain homogeneity with my other pics in the folder, and keep a near natural vision. Thanks for the comment anyway.

Great picture, and very delicate composition.

David, it took me a few hours under photoshop to make this picture. Another hour to print out (A3 print) and correct the minor defects. But, the most time consuming is finding the elements and the idea... it takes months.. years... of collecting and thinking about it. Yours... AM
