  1. I found this online guide to film photography... Intro to 35mm
  2. How did you develop the film? The Zenit TTL only uses a battery to power the meter - the camera is completely mechanical.
  3. Spamming the forum
  4. Go forth and multiply, spammer!
  5. It looks like a fake to me - no Leica had a threaded release button.
  6. I downloaded the "terms and conditions", but didn't open it when I saw it was a javascript file. I did scan it with Malwarebytes, which found it clean....
  7. Has anyone noticed that the poster above has invisible spam links, a few lines below their post?
  8. A more up to date example of the blindness of prophets is in the 25 December 1999 - 1 January 2000 issue of the Amateur Photographer. Towards the end of a review of the 35mm system, the author states "The real threat to 35mm is that, with the makers' help and support, most 35mm users will migrate to APS"!
  9. Last week, I received a package of Arista EDU Ultra 100 film, from B&H. I loaded a roll in my Agfaflex, fitted with the 35mm lens, and headed to the local Farmers Market, held at the railway station. The film was developed in Rodinal, scanned with my Canoscan. The sun was low in the sky, and the vignetting was caused by a lenshood meant for a 50mm lens.
  10. Rather than using an oven, try heating it with a hair dryer.
  11. The Spotmatic has a horizontally running shutter. The part of the picture showing "flare" is the lower part, seen from the camera's point of view. There isn't anything inside the camera, if you remove the lens, and hold the shutter open on "B", which could be reflecting light onto the film?
  12. Is it lens flare? Do you use a lens hood?

  14. Ah, the French Bakery in Greytown......I had one of the best sausage rolls I've tasted, there, when I was in Greytown for a funeral in 2015.
  15. Give it a try. There's a recently resurrected thread at rangefinderforum, about old film packaging - some old films go for silly amounts, on ebay.
  16. I developed my last two rolls of APX100 yesterday, in Rodinal.
