  1. I use reloadable cassettes, that I bought from B&H Kalt 35mm Cassette For Bulk Film (Plastic, 1 Cassette) NP11137-1 I, too have bulk loader, a Computrol, that I need to check.
  2. You could test the loader, by putting a short length of unexposed film in it, leaving the loader exposed to light for a time, then developing the film.
  3. I found that if I changed my email address that I use to login, I was no longer able to access forums or features here. I had to go back to my old login address.
  4. There is this one - available new Sekonic L-208 Twin Mate Meter 401-208 B&H Photo Video
  5. Disappearing gun, Devonport, Auckland.
  6. Fine pictures, Rick. They could be from the 1850s!
  7. You're hardly likely to get a reply - this thread is 17 years old!
  8. I had a Beetle, back in the 70's........I used to do my own servicing. My current car, a 1990s Toyota, is a far more reliable vehicle, with a fraction of the servicing needs of a Beetle.
  9. I replaced the 2nd curtain on my Exakta IIb - the first curtain is fine. There are instructions online for this job - I followed this: Exakta Surgery There are also instructions here: Disassembly of Ihagee Exakta Varex IIb - Caveat Reparator
  10. Thanks for that, Fred G - this method of posting photos is new since the last time I checked it out.
  11. The image has to be hosted elsewhere, and the URL inserted using the "image" function on the bar along the top of the post.
  12. Contact Chris Sherlock - Chris's Camera Pages He works on cameras other than retinas; mainly those with compur shutters. He recently overhauled the shutter on my Contaflex 1.
  13. I have a Beauty Lightomatic III - which looks remarkably like an original Canonet from the front - f1.9 lens, and a selenium element around the lens. It's even the same diameter as the lens barrel on a Canonet. It doesn't have the Canonet's auto exposure, though. There is a meter readout on top, linked to the shutter speed and diaphragm rings. This one works, but someone has removed the delayed action, and flash synch levers. This means no B speed, and only X synch.
  14. You are aware the post you are replying to was made in 2009? The poster you are questioning was last here in that year.
  15. I use developer, stop bath, fixer, wash aid. Only the developer is temperature checked, the rest are used at room temperature. I wash in tap water, with wetting agent in the final rinse. In nearly 50 years of developing, I've never seen reticulation.
  16. I use rodinal, inverting the tank for standard development, and I've not seen anything like that. Try another film, with inversion development - what you have may be an artefact of stand development. Another possibility is the quantity of rodinal in your tank being too small - see this thread Minimum amount of Rodinal
  17. You realise that the last post here was 15 years ago?
  18. I believe they are, Julio - certainly what I can see online suggests that.
  19. This person is posting criminal spam.
  20. Something rigid like a sensor carrier would not need the film pressure plate - that's usually easy to remove, and would give more space.
  21. Dunedin, New Zealand, Law Court building - being restored and earthquake strengthened.
