I LOVE alpine lakes!
-
Nice high-key photo, but the expression ruins the effect of an attractive model. I bet that was not her idea, right?
-
Bright colors, and two great subjects! I totally disagree with the recent(?) practice of making everybody appear as if they are stoned, ugly, or other wise unpleasant creatures. Great expressions. AND it is in focus.
good good good! Now go take some more pictures.
-
The large bright/open space to the right competes with the subject. I'd suggest cropping at the big white blob. Good photo--the eyes are sharp, too.
-
What's that, a SCRUM?
-
Interesting character study.
-
I love aircraft! Nice exposure. It would have been more pleasing to have more space in front of the subject, tho.
-
The expressions are the same! Well exposed!
-
Interesting subject

The thumbnail attracted me because of the dominant color and the simple, centered composition. The larger photo has the same attraction, but at the same time is disturbing, because I can identify the bulletholes for what they are. Powerful photo, better in color!

Simon: you nailed it! exposure and panning were right on--I'm jealous.
-
Beautiful portrait! Personally, I would have preferred about a half stop more light on the face, and a little more cropping to emphasize the face, and not the dark around it, but it sings!

Angel, You have done this sort of thing before, haven't you? Excellent photo. One of the ten best I've seen this month. Exposure, action, and the pilgrim in the foreground who may have really been in the wrong place at the wrong time! OUTSTANDING!
-
Ain't that always the way? Loaded with black and white, and think you need color, or vice versa? Good photo, good eye! Color might not add as much as you might think; this is a powerful image as it is.

Dunno what it is, but I LIKE it! Sort of reminiscent of the carbonite block Han Solo was trapped in.
-
SOMEBODY taught the youngster well! Sharp, and Good exposure, which many photos by older "photographers" on this forum often don't achieve. A good documentary shot of the subject. A tad more light for the interior would improve it. Now go take some more pictures!

Underexposed. It appears as if the bright background inflated the light reading, underexposing the subject. Spot metering the subject, or zooming in to max focal length or moving closer, reading the subject, locking the exposure, then recomposing would eliminate this most prevalemnt and disturbing of photo errors.
-
Beautiful! The dark area at the top right competes strongly with the center of interest, but it can't be totally cropped out without damaging the picture. It could be reduced somewhat, tho. Makes me COLD just looking at it! A wallhanger, for sure.

Nice pose, unfortunately, the bird is unsharp and underexposed. Keep trying!
-
The sepia tone is a great one for the subject. In agreement with a previous comment, It appears that the bright sky inflated your light reading, which underexposed the cabin. A stop to a stop and a half more exposure would reveal the wealth of detail existing in the cabin exterior, and make the photo more interesting.
-
Nice! Cropping the bottom to eliminate most of the out of focus sheet would make a good photo better IMHO.
-
It may just be a scanning problem, but I see a somewhat underexposed photo of a barren landscape. Not much to generate interest.
