Winter Day

Beautiful, simple composition, almost without time or scale. Elegant!

I think the lighting was just perfect.. nice angle... but image came out right-heavy. Well I hope I'm the only one.

Lighting lloks right but I agree I am distracted by the right side. Other than that the image is peaceful.

The lighting is fine. You can see every grain in the snow... It's funny how the twigs can look so much like trees... but yes, the right side is a little distracting... but on the other side, it does look like a mountain...:-)

This is a tough one. The lighting is perfect. I should leave it at that, since that was your question. But I agree the weight is all to the right. Cropping the left, so it is closer to square, might relieve that. The sprout and it's shadow might balance the upper right a little better that way.

Beautiful! The dark area at the top right competes strongly with the center of interest, but it can't be totally cropped out without damaging the picture. It could be reduced somewhat, tho. Makes me COLD just looking at it! A wallhanger, for sure.
