Nice colors, but sterile.

Crop the left side about 10-15%, and it would be much more effective. Thatn space adds nothing to an excellent photograph.GOOD flesh tones! You done good!

I'm falling, I'm FALLING! Wow! great perspective, and use of shape. Ecxellent technical quality, too. Did you do it yourself?
-
Quality is SO nice to look at! Excellent!
-
Shades of Ansel Adams! the waves and clouds almost appear as reflections. Worth looking at again and again.
-
One of my favorite things! The sky may be added, but it adds so much to the great old warbird. One of the best photos of the Corsair I have seen , period.
-
Would have rated it a 7X7, but this PITA system makes it nearly impossible to do that. Ecxellent, brilliant, an exhibition piece for sure.
-
SPECTACULAR, and the darkroom work is excellent!

Interesting portrait. The only improvements I might suggest would be the old standard--meter the face, open up one stop to place the flesh tone properly, and let the other values fall where they will. Raising the camera would improve the perspective. Eye-to-eye is usually preferable. Not bad, where it is, tho. Good effort.

Great portrait! A 7X7.

A slight move to the right would have improved the image. Cute kid. Too bad the distracting item intrudes.

Those little bitty in-camera flashes don't have much oomph, do they? I realize you were probably doing the best you could under the circumstances, and maybe a second printing might improve it. A good memento shot, tho.

A bit of fill, or about 1 stop more exposure would raise this effort from ho-hum to good. Those appear to be pleasant, interesting people, but we will never know, because the windows of the soul (eyes) are not well defined. Now go take some more pictures.
-
Well-executed: but the eyes degrade the photo to a rather unpleasant "witticism" (probably totally inintended on your part), prevalent in the 50's and 60's.
-
More light needed! The character of the subject is not visible. I bet it was auto exposure, right?
-
I echo the earlier comments. It is SO nice once in a while to find a gem amidst the other offerings. Keep doing what you are doing. Your photo makes me wish I'd done it.
-
Excellent treatment of a commonplace subject. Cropping the bottom to the first or second (are those steps?) would improve it overall, IMHO.
-
Unsharp blobs of light.
-
Very good! Eyes in focus, sharp! The only thing that could have improved your effort would be just a smidge of fill to bring out the color on the breast.
-
Some fill would add sparkle.
-
Exposure!

Opening the lens a stop or so would make the snow more the correct color, and a compensation filter would have removed some of the blue.
