Timo Hartikainen 556 Posted February 13, 2019 This is quite simple, but very pleasing to watch. The tree with a bend, adds a lot to the photo. Link to comment

setsail728 15 Posted February 14, 2019 A simple photo of tree trunks....but unlike one I’ve ever seen before!! The fog and lighting, the dark vs the light trunks creates a sedate mood. And the“deformed” trunk on the left adds more interest! A photo that is hard to look away from! Link to comment
lesliecarpenterholt 0 Posted February 14, 2019 The fog lends depth and mystery to the image. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted February 15, 2019 I love the tonality, Joe. The contrasts are gentle, and the detail in the background is soft. This image makes me want to sit amongst these trees until I've gotten rid of all the clutter in my head. Artistic, technically sound photo. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 15, 2019 I have to say I'm quite impressed with what you've been able to create with your i-phone. I don't own a cell phone at all (one of the last of a dying breed) but if I ever did buy one it would be in large part due to its image capturing capabilities. This picture is hauntingly beautiful, repeated patterns with enough individual variety in the trunks to catch and maintain our interest. Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 15, 2019 Oops, sorry! But your other cell phone pictures are equally impressive. Link to comment
joe4peace 0 Posted February 16, 2019 I have tried to photograph the woods several times. There are large amounts of clutter. The solution to the clutter is fog which eliminates all the inconsequential lines and just leaves the major composition... Link to comment
