Today was the first time Sasha has been to a park. I think he enjoyed
himself.

Converted to black and white in photoshop.

Great idea for a series. American's need to take afternoon naps.

Nice colors. I like you blew out the greens and crushed the black to bring out the red of the Foxglove Digitalis.
-
Love it. Very original. It almost like he is holding up the diver.

Nice Tulips. I like the way you kept the highlight from being blown out. Did you use a reflector to light the bottoms of the flowers?

I don't think the grass in the forground adds to the image. A little bit of fill flash on the tree would have been nice too.
-
Great sky. I would like to see at least one of the cattle looking at the photographer.

Fred Miranda's Digital Infared action is pretty neat.

A shelter against the sun, wind, and Pirates. The interesting things
one can find on the beach.

The water was such a beautiful blue. Too bad it's hot enough to take
your skin off and the steam has enough sulfer to burn your eyes and lungs.

I came across this homestead just into Idaho. I can't think why
anyone would have abandoned a house with such a view.

100+ degrees, black lava, no shade, zero humidity, and a 15 mph wind,
what the hell was I thinking!

Good eye Tom. You have taste in cameras and side arms.

Connie, Great image but it is a bit soft and muted. I applied a little carefull sharpening to your image and boosted the color. I used Fred Miranda's Intellisharpen and Velvia Vision.

Very cute. The big green bush dosn't add to the image. It would be nice if the pups were looking at you. A well timed wistle or squeek can get there attention sometimes. Sometimes nothing can get there attention.

I bought this pen for my father for Christmass in 1985. He loved fine
pens and I spent half a month's pay to buy it. It sat on his desk, in
it's case, near his check book. He used it to sign important papers
and fill out the ledgers for his business. I hope he knew how much it
meant to me to see that pen on his desk, always ready to put his
signature to paper.

Firing a handgun is a destructive and violent act but there is beauty
in the cool blued steel and the warm brass cartridges. Camera's and
guns seem like opposites to me. One is destructive the other creative
but both are tools of the eye and mind. I am drawn to both.

What is it about a Leica camera that makes them so special? When I
pick up my Leica these are the places my fingers go. I am trying to
capture visually the tactile experience I get from the fine
craftsmanship of this camera.

Just can't stop smiling!
