This is a shot I have been trying to do for years. I've had so so results by putting glass plates in the freezer. This is so much better than anything that man could create. Mother nature is the master. Incredible.

First let me say excellent image, but... The image looks a little off balance. The cart needs to be more to the right. I think the snow would work if it had more contrast to separate it from the concrete. Is that a copy of "Martha Stewart Living" in the cart?

The artificial look was intentional. The solar filter removed nearly all the natural color from the image. The color had to be added. Children like to use "Lemon yellow" when they draw pictures. This is my angry Lemon yellow sun.

Neat perspective. I think you should have held the camera half a foot higher. Or you could have put the other foot in for ballance. I would like to see more shadow detail. Could be the scan but the guy's body is just a black blob.

This is a cool shot. It says sex, sex, sex, But pay me first! I also like the fact that wide angle lens makes the models legs look thicker and her feet look bigger. It makes the model apperar more masculine. The position of the model's hand leads the viewer to think she(or he) is trying to hide something. Which really says TABOO! The only thing I dont like (minor) is her missing toes.

"Unsharp Mask" is the very last thing I do. I only use enough to restore the original sharpness of the image. I've never tried doing each channel seprately. To be honest I didn't know you could. I try not to do anything in P.S. that couldn't be done in the darkroom. When I do more than that I let everyone know. I've fixed the artifacts. They didn't show up on my CRT but were visible on my cheap flat panel.
