When you rate this photo please give me feedback. I welcome all
constructive criticism.

Soviet Leica inspired cameras are unappreciated, simple, and
beautiful machines. They have been wrongfully rejected by the
establishment.

When I saw these patterns it reminded me of NASA photos of Mars.

I was trying to use the odd angle to give the sense of being off
ballance. I included as many objects as I could. The little girl's
favorite toys and precious treasures. A letter from a family member
expressing the deep, deep loss.

Thanks Seven; After looking at the amazing quality of your work I am very flattered. I would like to hear your suggestion regarding the rest of my images on photo.net. Thanks again, John Schroeder

I understand what you were trying to accomplish but it's way to busy. I would have put a bike infront of the window and shot with a circ-polarizer to kill the reflections.

Fantastic image. Great ballance. This image is also a tad soft. If all these images were scanned on the same equipment it might be time to buy new.

Iris' are beautiful flowers and make good subjects. Their petal have wonderfull details.
I like the lighting but the image is too soft.

What look were you going for? The image has lots of punch but is out of focus. I would have tried to get the entire tulip in the picture in stead of clipping the top petal. The image would have benefitted from side lighting. This would have given more defintion to the petals and the water droplets.

I realy enjoy texture images. I would have moved in closer to eliminage the yellow lichen from the upper left corner and the background is distracting. Side lighting would have helped bring out more detail in the bark.

I desaturated everything but the dye stain. To make it jump I over
saturated the red channel. I was trying to make the stain look more
like blood, the primary red in all of us.

This young man was taking a break from selling t-shirts. I took several images but this is the one I like the best. His wedding ring is catching the light. I think it tells a nice story. While lots of people would be out playing, he's working hard to support his family.
