Beauty and violence

Firing a handgun is a destructive and violent act but there is beauty

in the cool blued steel and the warm brass cartridges. Camera's and

guns seem like opposites to me. One is destructive the other creative

but both are tools of the eye and mind. I am drawn to both.

I was at a gun show in Oregon recently... For some reason this pistol stuck out in my memory... It seemed like very well balanced at the time, but of course I did not get to fire a round.... tc
