still struggling .... i clicked my name>profile>images>gallery>...had to refresh...images showed up>browsed to page13>desired photo>maximize arrow to get just the image>copied url in browser>back to thread>link (chain icon) ctrl-v to paste. and the text of the link appears not the image! I must be singularly dumbest member on the site! (not that I'm frustrated or anything)

  3. Hopefully this can be a resource for member to member tips for site usage. I want to know how to include an image from my gallery to a forum. I used to go to my gallery, click on an image to 'bring_it_up', right click and get a menu to 'copy_image_link', go to gallery and paste the link into 'include_image_link', and it worked. Now I am no longer given the right click and copy url for pasting. Hope this makes sense. If anyone can clue me in, I would appreciate it with thanks.
  4. "I need to learn how to post an image from the gallery to a forum" me too. I used to be able to go to an image in my gallery, right click, and be presented with a drop-down menu to "copy image link; the go to forum and paste in reply to forum. No longer presented with the option to 'copy image link'. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. Thanks; we're here to help each other.

Very impressive. Initial contrast establishes the graphical impact, and the complete tonality compels retention of attention. Photos are light.
  6. Intention is key. eg. a photo as illustration of assembly in an instruction manual is good if it illustrates the process; artistic merits of composition, balance, etc. are irrelevent. Similarly, forensic evidence photography is for recording evidence....

Lovely subject and the photo succeeds with the catchlights in the eyes, modeling of her cheekbones, emphasis of the lips; and the pose also gives life. Nits (and they ARE picky) might be dealing with the hand in lr corner which gains unfortunate prominence by its contrast against the dark jacket; and (even pickier!) more separation of the subject's hair from the background. Cloning out the hand may go against the photographer's principles, and the hair issue is probably personal taste. Cheers and congratulations on a photo that is a pleasure to view.
  8. Gaining a little understanding... I l cleared cookies, logged back in, selected explore>galleries>nudeanderotic; now presented with thumbnails of photos; clicked on one and blurred image appears with "image is nsfw click to optin" button. click it and image appears clear (unblurred). Clicking on a different image in the gallery and button and click option reccurrs. Progress.... but would be nice to have clear viewing as a personal option sticky across the site. But... I guess we take it or leave it.
  9. "In the galleries, one can select "Enable NSFW Block" which greys out the photo and makes a potential viewer 'opt in.'" Where and how is this option available? I can't find it
  10. so how do I post an image from my gallery (which I access by: my profile>activity>gallery>images) to a thread in a forum?

  12. The gamification model seems to be a pathway to tictok. Alas. If decent to the lowest common denominator is the aim of the owners, then so be it. It is what it is. Is photo.net going to have it's own 'Mr Beast' of you tube? No disrespect to Mr Jensen, who is working with the parameters dictated to him and trying to keep us informed.

    Downtown..

Sense a story here ... smiling, expentant face looking to the back of a chair not knowing there is nobody there...
  16. Interesting study in light/tonality. First impression is the sensuality of the light on the seats and how their shape is illustrated by that light. The fold/wrinkle left chair is a 'perk' that tweaks and accentuates. Having the predominance of light at the bottom of the frame in reversal to nature's way of light skies up establishes a certain drama(?) to command attention. Juxtaposition of curves and hard lines and angles complements/ is_complemented_by the chirasco of the interior lights against the darker background. Allways a treat to see good vision well executed.
  17. on the basis of one internet person's opinion???
  18. Interest. The first looks like decals of dog photos applied to a car ....pfffft. The second appears to be a photo of dogs against an background of a car, and the background has intersting abstract of graphical elements of shape and tone.
  19. i like the juxtaposition of cute with abstract
