Nice work Dean, you've done more with that tutorial than I have. Looks like I better find more time :) It looks to me like the singers shirt *might* be a little oversaturated. My monitor is slightly off calibrated at the moment so it's hard for me to say absolutley but it looks like you have lost some of the detail in the shirt.
The photo is definitely a lot cleaner without the security guy, the purists will squeal but it's easier to use photoshop than to peg the lunk on the back of the head with a rock to get him to move before you took the shot ;)

very, very nice!
-
beautiful!
-
striking, it definitely holds the eye
-
personally I would have gone in a little tighter... in fact if you check my folder you'll see an example. Nice mix of shapes and tones though
-
what the??? I love autumn colors too but...
It's a nice concept but it didn't come out that well, maybe try again.

hi, in answer to your question... my experience with stock images and in looking at mtn bike magazine's is most editors would want to see an entire bike and would want a better background (blurred spectators aren't a bonus)
as a designer I'd want the entire bike so I have room to crop down to what I want to use.
Neat looking shot though :)

looks like a feedbag to me, probaby a happy horse ;)

Nice one Haluk!
Black cats are hard to get, I know, I have one and he's so hard to expose properly.
-
really great shot Kevin. Good capture with the light, the fog of his breath, etc.
-
nice bit of work, would love to see the print. That has got to be nice!
Stylistically I like the grain and dof. Good composition as well.
-
very nice work! good use of thirds ;)
-
I like the bare feet, very nice touch.
I think the pose could have been a little starker... maybe he looks too warm in the jacket ;)
-
I like it, good choice of dof.
A little more even lighting would have improved it a bit though.
Thanks for sharing

there is isn't enough focus or depth of field to make this an effective abstract or pattern study.
Keep trying :)

eyecatching.. there are things that could be improved on. e.g. I think the door hook is cropped too tightly, flag probably should have been centered, etc. but still a neat concept... high on the originality score..
-
neat sky but poor timing. shadow in ridge is distracting and centered cloud is not overly interesing
-
interesting but doesn't seem balanced
-
I generally like abstracts but... this looks like something by the shadowy men from a shadowy planet... can't really tell what anything is and I looked at it full size
-
get this off to a cat calender!! It's great! :)
-
good image with or w/o the security guy... w/o him though you get more of the jesus christ superstar feeling.
Personally I'd at least dodge him down some so he's not as much visual competition
-
very nice!
I'd suggest cropping just a bit to straighten it and even up the balance.
Very eyecatching!
-
actually I quite like this a B&W..
Very nice work Filipe!

This is terrific Ian, I really love the composition.
Your Rollei was a TLR yes? Do you think you would have shot it the same way with a zoom lens in your hand?
Self portrait of myself doing my second favorite thing... FOOD!
