invisibleflash
Anyone try camera scanning negs and chromes? I can never get my Epson film scanners to focus that well. Tried all sort of adjustments and raising the film. It always seems slightly out of focus no matter what. Thinking of getting into camera scanning. Will it produce a better scan than the Epson? I'd be using a 42mp Sony most likely.
digitaldog
Search the posts here, been discussed kind of to death. Author “Color Management for Photographers" & "Photoshop CC Color Management" (pluralsight.com)
Sandy Vongries
Done it many times, works quite well if you thoroughly clean the media photographed. Scanner isn't bad either, just slower - i have used a Canoscan 9000 Mark II with good results.

JDMvW
While this topic is not perhaps the single most discussed on this site, it surely must be one of the FAQs. Look, even with the rather insensistive search engine for the site.... Search "Forum Posts" not pictures or whatever.
