  1. Ive been playing "Whack-a-mole" with spammers when I awaken early. But they seem to have an infinite number of logins available for their use each day.
  2. Sony A7rii with Voigtlander Heliar 40/2.8 at f/5.6
  3. Hi Eric - the printer I was referring to only prints on canvas, which is what I use for large displays. Otherwise for normal papers I either print my own or use a master printer ($$$). The canvas one is Canvasdiscounts out of Florida.
  4. The lab I often use for printing my photos when ordering shows the photo submitted on the canvas size requested and allows you to adjust the printed picture size to fit the canvas, along with or without borders. It generally works pretty well.

  6. Old shot of downtown Toronto from Casa Loma
  7. I grew up with fast lenses being F/2 excepting the horrendously expensive Noctilux. I learned the use of flash to enhance my indoor shots, which were generally f/4, whether they were HS wrestling matches or family and friend shots. High film ISOs were crappy (I worked in several darkrooms) but sometimes desirable. I was delighted when I could get a 50/1.8. Now in the digital age, I'm finding my Iphone does almost as well as my other digital bodies and better than most of my fixed focus lenses. I haven't done any exhibition prints yet from the Iphone, still preferring either film or digital for those. But it is nice to have the range of high ISO capabilities and superb fast lenses and not often rely any longer on a flash, although periodically just to keep in shape I do drag it out for product photography or special effects when the natural light isn't cooperating.
  8. Perhaps a small drop of Flitz metal polish, which I used to use on my guns, gently applied with a Q-tip and then removed with a soft cloth would do it. If it was me, I'd just note it as inconsequential, especially as there is the potential to remove adjacent finish in the process making things worse, but my hint is there if you want to take a chance.
