Leonard-just-Leonard
Wow... I see my Icon has changed. Hard to believe it's been 10 years since I first discovered this web site.

I have gone from scanning in old 35mm prints from years and years ago to buying my third digital camera.

One of my shots was on National Geographics Daily Dozen, another was on the cover of Readers Digest publication More of Our Canada (Jan 2013) and a feature 6 page photo essay of my Waterton photos was in the Nov 2013 issue. Others shots have been in a couple magazines, a coffee table book and the local newspaper a few times.

I am an amateur and do photography for the enjoyment of it. It's nice to get the occasional recognition and a few bucks once in a while too. Photo.net has helped me a lot with many members offering useful critiques and tips on how to improve.

rossb
I signed on in 2005 but I do not post all the time. However 10 years ago I was shooting film and went reluctantly to digital and now I am back to film again. I just shoot family photos, trips and such. Shooting film for me makes a fun hobby.

shawngibson
I've been here since 1998 approx. The 10-year feeling turns into "wow, I'm old" 10 years later lol...
PDN has been my source of knowledge and support for all these years.
You're definitely not an amateur; be proud:)
hjoseph7
The good thing is that after 10 years, you can look back and see where you were 10 years ago by the pictures you posted on the this site...
