RaymondC
Thanks Rick.

Is this the developer you used? Was it rated at ISO 100, I will give that a try. From your experience standard ID-11 developers would not achieve such a look? 120 format?

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/123487-REG/Photographers_Formulary_01_5060_PMK_Pyro_Metol_Kodalk_Developer.html

rick_drawbridge
Ray, that's the stuff. It does tend to reduce the film speed; the Kentmere 100 I used for the photograph of the building I would have rated as 80 ISO. For the faster films such as Tri-X or Ilford HP5 I halve the ISO box speed from 400ISO to 200ISO. From experience, ID-11(D76) doesn't produce quite the same "look" but there are so many variables involved with film type, development techniques, scanning and post-processing that I'd hesitate to state anything other than an opinion!
RaymondC
Thanks Rick :)

Was it 120 format, was it also developed at @80 ISO or shot at ISO 80 and developed at box speed?

Thanks again.
rick_drawbridge
Ray, it was 35mm film, exposed at a rating of 80ISO. The developer has great instructions included, along with suggested development times and temperatures for a representative variety of films, to start you off.

Bill Bowes
Hello everyone. Many homes in Hawaii build stone walls around the properties of native black lava rock. While the walls are thick and massive, many of the almost delicate gates in these walls are works of art.
Isolette 3, UFX400 @ 200asa, Obsidian Aqua developer, V600 scan. donald_miller5
Pick up an Albinar kit with 3 lenses, bag and flash. It looks like it just came off the shelf. Most comments I read are short and usually one word "cheap" and if I got it for free I paid too much. But once in a while someone has a kin d word for the lens. On Ebay the lens go for more than I expected so here goes.

donald_miller5
On second it might be Albimar 80-200 zoom but I think that had some issues with color correction that I do not see here.

donald_miller5
You suggest that we post our 4th photo here but there is only one a day. I would hate to take up that slot when someone probably has a better photo to show
Mike Gammill
That's okay, Donald. I try to watch the time and if forum activity in general seems slow I usually prepare to post an entry for this thread. I do try to wait, though, because I also feel that someone might have a better photo that what I planned. FWIW, I've enjoyed your photos so please continue to contribute.
