Good Thursday Morning Canon shooters and welcome to Canon Thursday #19. I hope you've all had a good week.
This will be the last time I start the Thursday morning threads. I'm in Indonesia at the moment and will be going trekking next week

and accessing the internet might be problematic. Robin will be taking over from next week. I've enjoyed my time at the helm and hope to

continue contributing to the threads whenever possible.

So, here's my offering for the week. Let's see yours

00cZPg-548083584.jpg.727e8da4112e2a4675a5a0dbbff35a1f.jpg

Thanks Norman. Have fun trekking. Hope we see you on the other end of your adventure.
It's time to look for slime molds. They are great organisms, chomping bacteria associated with decaying wood as they travel about. This is Lycogola epidendrum. It's large for a Myxomycete at about 1/16 inch, and is among the most common. They look like teeny tiny puff balls, but they are stuffed with long springy threads and have pink spores.

00cZRX-548089684.JPG.a341d8a19563868638a3dc336f6bcd95.JPG
