Good Thursday Morning Canon shooters and welcome to Canon Thursday #3.

I will be starting these threads until further notice. I am currently in SE Asia, 12 hours ahead of Photo.net time so I

don't have to get up too early. It is currently 22C where I am with a nice cool breeze. I hope the weather has been

fairly clement where you are. A couple of shots from me this week.

Hello all. I spent last Saturday playing with my cameras in London.
I used my 5D2 to estimate the exposure I would need to take this shot on film. I'm sure I could have done the maths, but this method also allowed me to see if it would look right.
5D2+24-105, Stacked Hoya Red 25, ND8 and B+W ND1000 to give an exposure of 60 seconds at f11 and iso-400

Back in October I was in Bryce Canyon and got lots of great shots. These 3 are of some of the more recognizable formations. All were taken with a Canon 50d using the 24-105 mm lens at 105 mm handheld. They were taken in mid to late afternoon in between intermittent snow showers with a strong wind blowing. It was COLD, so it was hard to keep from shaking.

00cJcJ-544894384.JPG.312c9d742f0efb352d109427709132b6.JPG
