This is one of the steam- and smoke-belching power plants, possibly the oldest and ugliest, on the east side of the Ohio River near Pittsburgh, PA. The only thing more depressing than seeing the few plants and factories like this that still operate is looking at those that have rusted into ruin in what has become an industrial graveyard.

00aNCj-465379584.jpg.b84bc4b5347a53f26b656afafb425649.jpg

"Mountain Theater Play Rehearsal"
On Mt. Tamalpais (state park) is the wonderful Mountain Theater where every May & June a play is produced. This year it's the MUSIC MAN (99th anniversary of plays at the Mtn Theater too). It generally sells out (shows are Saturday & Sunday only)

Resized down to 700 px with MS Paint (LOL!). EOS 7D, 16-35, Sunday, 5/6/2012.

00aNEE-465415584.jpg.3d977a85b7e697c9d2c76b57e3e90504.jpg

Hi, I'm a Nikon Wednesday guy checking out your photos and I must say congratulations to all of you. Some very impressive shots today. I'm just a rank amateur but I love photography and hope for a nice shot one day. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks John P, and welcome to the forum. I love looking at the amazing photos posted on the Nikon forum every week equally as much as I enjoy these. Here's mine for the week...another shot of the Perigee Moon, although I underexposed the shot to try and capture the detail just a little bit more. Shooting the brightness of the moon wasn't much fun, but seeing it and how much it lit up the surrounding landscape was very impressive!
