snommisbor
I'm going on a night photo shoot in a week and was looking to get some T64 for my 4x5 camera because I read that really is better for night photography than Velvia. But looks like the T64 is not available. What would be a good film for night photography that is color, I already have B&W so just looking to get some color.
john_shriver
Japan Exposures still has some Kodak Ektachrome 64T in 4x5. Shipping back from Japan shouldn't be bad. Might want to stock up and freeze some if this is something you want to have around.
As for the Fuji T64, don't see that anywhere in sheet film.
snommisbor
Any other film that is good for night photography that would be readily available?
ellis_vener_photography
Fuji still makes a T64 (or 64T film) in multiple formats.
patrick_mont
Believe it or not Ekatachrome 100G does outstanding at night. I have taken 30 second exposures quite successfully and wouldn't think twice about doing it again. Although it is not a tungsten balanced film, the colors were surprisingly perfect. If I have a chance I'll try to post an example. I won't use any other film at night ever than E100G. It is perfect.
jeff_livacich
Patrick, was there any reciprocity failure?
RaymondC
Yeah I was gonna say 100G as well. It is quite neutal in most cases but at night time like with blue sky twilight, it gets quite saturated and pops. Reprocity is like Provia into 5min or so ... check the datasheet.

But I don't like Provia. Def prefer E100G anyday.
http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5041/5326019980_2a259e2f9e_b.jpg
